During May, students in Years 5 - 12 throughout Queensland will be encouraged to create their ideal world as part of the Queensland Academy for Health Science's Creative Challenge - Creating Virtual Q2.
Students will brainstorm their thoughts, ideas and ways to address challenges on virtual 'sticky note' boards in order to consider, think and decide how to start creating their 'utopian' world. Interesting and challenging concepts will be posed in this virtual world where everyone can choose what they look like through their avatars, fly and be teleported instantly to their desired destinations.
Student opportunities to take leadership roles and seek expert guidance that simulates the same level of complexity and responsibility as real life will enhance and sustain the learning opportunities beyond the life of the project.
